RESOLUTION NO. 13-8651
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISSUE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS("RFP"),TO
QUALIFIED FIRMS, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A CITY
HALL COMPLEX ON CITY OWNED PROPERTY,LOCATED ON
PERVIZ AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to consider having a City
Hall Complex built on the City owned-property, located on Perviz Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the City
Manager to issue Request for Proposals for a qualified company to construct the complex.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, hereby directs and
authorizes the City Manager to issues RFP to qualified firms for the construction of a City Hall
Complex on the City owned property on Perviz Avenue.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
