RESOLUTION NO. 76-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PUBLIC AGENCY
COLLEGE WORK-STUDY PROGRAM WYTH THE CAI.IFORNIA
STATE POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY, POMONA.
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Lynvrrood, Callfornia,
as followa:
Section 1. That the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
has made the College Work-Study Program available to the City of Lynwood.
Section 2. The Work~fitudy Program ia designed to provide college
atudente the opportunity to participate in the operation of public agencles
and be involved in projecta in the public interest.
Section 3. The atudent ahall be allowed to work for a maximurzi of
40 houra per week with a total salary not to exceed $1, 000 while employed
by the City for the duration of his empioyment. His salary shall be ~aid
80% from a Federal College Work Study Program under the Economic
Opportunity Act of 1964, and 20% by the City of Lynwood Housing and
Community Development Act funds.
Approved and adopted by the City Councit of the City of Lynwoad
