A RESOLU'T`ION OF° 'SHE CITY COUNCIL OF` P.PHE CITY
OF LYlVWOOD CONCiJRRING .WITH THE COUNTYrS
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT FLAN
..The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as fo-.lows a
WHEREASe the Nejedly®Z~berg®Dills Solid Waste Management
and Resource R~co~rery Act of 1972 (hereafter refereed to as the Act) ~°equires
each county in cooperation with affected loyal j~risdictions§ to prepare a compre-
h~ensi~re8 ~ coordinated solid waste management. pla~i, ar~d
~. WHEREAS, said Act also requires that such plan shall be consistent
with state policy and arty appropriate regional or sub-regional solid waste management
plan; a~.d
WHEREASe said A ct also requires that the county solid waste
management plan shall be .subject to the appro~ral by ~. majority of the cities within
the county which contain a majority of the population of the incorporated area of the
cou~ity9 and
WHER~AS9 the C'ou~nt;y:afLos Angeles has prepared a plan of solid .
waste management in :conformance with the A ct and on February 1.78 1976 subrriitted
s~.id plan to this Council for° appro~ral9
Now THEREFORE BE IT RES(JLVED -that the City Council of ttie
City of Lynwood has reviewed said plane appro~res .the plan9 and concurs in the
