HomeMy Public PortalAbout1993-085Member Ann Thies introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 93-85 RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO GINGER HALLBECK AND MICHELE HUTTON FOR A HOME OCCUPATION AT 242 MEDINA ROAD WHEREAS, Ginger Hallbeck and Michele Hutton ( "Applicants") have applied for a conditional use permit for a home occupation for a custom women's clothing business at 242 Medina Road; and WHEREAS, the proposed use requires a conditional use permit under the terms of the city's zoning ordinance; and WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed by the planning commission on October 12, 1993 and by the city council on November 2, 1993 with regard to whether the proposed use will impede the orderly and normal development of the adjacent properties. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that a conditional use permit be granted to the Applicants for a home occupation for the stated purpose, subject to the following conditions: 1. There shall be no signs on the property identifying the business, but a name plate shall be allowed on the property mailbox; 2. Only one outside employee shall be permitted; 3. Hours of operation of the business shall be 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. seven days per week; 4. The Applicants shall be allowed no more than two sample sales per year, each of which is limited to no more than one week at a time; 5. The city recognizes that there are two accessory structures on the property; 6. The Applicants agree to pay to the city the fee determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost of the city in reviewing this conditional use permit application; and RHB61319 ME230-197 7. Any violation of the terms and conditions of this conditional use permit or any city ordinance related thereto shall be grounds for revocation of the conditional use permit.
