A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCII~ OF THE CITY
OF ZYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO SEEK
4JAYS AND MEANS OF REDUCING COST OF CITY
GOVERNMENT
.
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges that f iscal
responsibility and a f inancially sound city treasury are
paramount to stable city government; and
WHEREAS, the Council recognizes the frequent in-
deficit condition of some funds in the treasury, notably
the General Fund; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative that measures be taken
aimed at correctin~ the situation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood
that it shall be the policy and objective of the Council,
forthwith, to seek ways and means of reducing operating
and capital costs of city government wherever feasible.
PASSED, APYROVED, AND OYTED this 6th day of
April, 1976,
