A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CON-
SIDER A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOP-
MENT PLAN FOR PROJECT AREA A.
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency has, by
Resolution No. LRA- 76-4 adopted April 6, 1976, declared its
intention to consider an amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for
Project Area A, which amendment would exclude land from and add
land to said Project Area; and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law requires that
both the Agency and the City Council hold public hearings on said
proposed amendment, but allows said public hearings to be con-
solidated into a joint public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the public convenience and necessity will be
better served by means of such a joint public hearing on the
aforesaid proposed amendment; and
WHEREAS, this City Council concurs in the aforesaid action
taken by the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
hereby does find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
1. The public hearings on the proposed amendment to
the Redevelopment Plan for Project Area A which are required by
the Community Redevelopment Law to be held before the Agency and
the City Council shall be consolidated into a joint public
hearing to be.held on May 18, 1976, at 7:30 p. m., or as soon
thereafter as the matter can be heard, in the Chambers of the
City Council, at 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California.
2. The "Notice of Public Hearing" heretofore adopted
by the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency hereby is also approved and
adopted by this City Council as adequate and proper notice of
said public hearing.
3. The publication and mailing of said notice by the
Secretary to the Agendy, as set forth in the aforesaid Resolution
No. LRA-76-4 shall be made also on behalf of the City of Lynwood
and shall be deemed to constitute said City's notice of the afore-
said hearing.
