A RESOLUTION OF THE CFTY COUNCIL. OF' THE CI°t"I' OF`
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF PROPEft'I`Y NECESSARY
FOR '~HE WIDEIVING AND IMPROVEMENT OF LOIVG BEACH
BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determiraed that
the widening and improvement of Lorng Beach Boulevard from the northerly to the
southerly boundaries of the City is necessary for the convenience, weliare, ~.nd safety
of the public, and
WHEREAS, it has been determi~ed tt~at tY~~ ~~~~ intere~t c~f tta~ City ~,h~.bl~
be served by the aequisition of property necessary for :~afd widenir~gp anci
WHEREAS, the City has apprc~~riat~d eert~im fund~ for this acquisition
and development, and
WHEREAS, the City Coixncifl has received an Er~vix°onmental Impact
~tatement on the Long Beach Boulevard Project and have detex°xnirned that no
sfgnificant environmental impact will occur ir~ ±he cc~mpletion of ~his gsroject,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV~D BY THE CITI' COUNCIL OF THE
CI'I`Y OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following described property is necess~ry for the
widening of Long Beach Boulevard:
Parcel 15
That portion of Lot 33n Tract 25 rla irn the Cfty of L,ynwoc~d,
County of Los Angelese State of Califorc~ia, as per map r~~orded
in book 24 pages 78 to 80 incluside of Map~~ in the offic~ of th~
County Recorder of said County~ described as fcllowso
Beginning at the most easterl~ corner of said lot; ther~~P weyterly
along, the southerly line of safd lot to a line that is 7.00 f~et
westerl,y, measured at right angles from the easterly linE of sa.id 1ot
and the true point of beginning; thence coratinuin~ west~rb~ aflong said
southerly line to a lfne that is 10.00 feet westeriy, measured at right
angles, from the easteriy -ane of said lota thenc~ norther•fly along last
described line to the beginning of a tangent curv~ coneave 5outhwe~t-

Seetion 2. That the purchaae price of ttae above des~ri~i~d property ha~
been negotiated with Mae Martin in the amount of $695.

Section 3. That the City Council authorize and direct City Staff to
take whatever steps necessary to accept this property in accordance with the terms
and conditions as set forth above.
