LYIVWOOD AU'I"HORIZING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY NECESSARY
FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF LQN~ BEACH
BO U LE VA RD
WHEREAS, the: City Counci~ of the City of Lynwood has determined that
the widening and iiz;~,rovement oi Long Beac;h Boulevard from th~ northerly to the
southerly boundari~s of the City is necessary for the convenience, welfare, and
safety of the publi., and
WHEREAS, it has been determrr.ed that the beat interest of the City shall
be served by the acquisition of property r,e~:~ssa.ry for said widening, and
WHEREAS, the Ciiy k:as appropriat~^d certain f'unds for this acquisition
and developmer.t, and
WHEREAS, thF City Council has re.,Ei red an Er~virunmsntal Impact
statement on thF Long Bea~h Boul~;vard Proj~^ct and have ci~termined that no
significant enviror:m~ntal impact w:1.1 oceur i,i tht cornpletion of tYiis praject.
