A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AND ADOPTING THE CITY'S AMENDED APPLI-
CATION Td THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES/U. S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOP-
MENT FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOP-
MENT ACT FUNDS, 1976-7?
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood supports and endoraea the Housing and
Community Development Act oP 1974 Por recognizing local development needa and
providing financial assistance via block grants to local governments far housing
and community development activitiea; and
WHEREAS, it is acknowledged that ali requiremente impoaed by the Urban
County and U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development throughout the
original and amended 1978-77 application procesaes to receive community develop-
ment grant monies have been rnet; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood C'xty Council approves aubmieaion of an amended
application and the projects therein to the County of Loa Angeles for Title I Houaing
and Community Developrnent Act grant Punda for 1976-77;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City oP
Lynwood, California, that the City of Lynwood hereby in4orms the County of Los
Angeles/U. S. Department o4 Urban Development that Houaing and Community
Development Act funds are requested ta implement all projects included in the
City's amended Housing and Community Development Act application for 197B-77.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 18th day of May, 1976,
