1'ROPERTIES IN THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORPdIA,
ATdD DECLARING TF.E PUBLIC PiEC~SSITY THEREFOR.

4YHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is authorized by virtue
of the Statutes of the State of California to take property by~
condemnati_on and to hold, use and enjoy said property as ne-
cessary to the full exercise of its power; and
VIHERliAS, the City of Lynwood is specifically authorized
by virtue of Street and Highways Code Sections 4090 et seq.
and Government Code Sections 40404 eC seq. to take property
by condemnation for street widening purposes; and
WHL;REAS, all persons whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the properties described
herein, and all persons ~vhose names appear as record owners on
the litigation guarantee rep~rts for said properties, were
given notice and an opportunity to be heard pursuant to Code
of Civil Procedure Section 1245.235•; and
~'7HEPIsAS, a public hearing was held by the City Council
on b4ay 1~, 1976, at which the matters set forth in Code
of Civil Procedure Section 1240.030 ~vere discussed, including
the following matters:
(a) 4Vhether the public interests require the proposecl
project;
(b) Whether the project is planned and locatec~•in the man-
ner that will be most compatible with the greatest public good
and the least private injury; and

(c) Whether the properties described herein are necessary
for the proposed project.
NO~V, TIIER~FORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
hereby does resolve as follows:
SLCTION 1. The City Council oP the City or Lynwood has
iound and determined that the public interest and necessity
require for public use the acquisition, construction, comple-
tion, operation and maintenance by said City or Lynwood, of
certain public improvements, to wit:
An easement for street right of way purposes required for the
widening of Long Beach Boulevard between Imperial IIighway and
Century Boulevard. Project No. 6-150-196.
S~CTION 2. The properties described herein are located
with-in the City of Lynwood and are necessary lor the proposed
project. Said pro~~erties are more partiuclarly described as
follows:

SECTION 3. The proposed project is planned and located
in the manner that will Ue most compatible with the greatest
public g~ood aiid the least private injury.
SECTION 4. The law firm ot Kutan & Tucker, attorneys for
the Cii;y of Lynwood, is hereby directed to bring action in
the Superior Court of the State of California in the name oT
the Cii;y of Lynwood, to condemn by eminent domain proceedings,
the properties described in Section 2 herein. Said attorneys
are authorized and instructed to make application to said Court
t'or an Order fizitig the amount oi' security by ~~vay oI' moncy de-
posits as said Caux~t may direct ancl 1'or an Order permiCting tl~e
City ot Lynwood i:o lake immediate possession and us~ oi' said
real properties f'or the uses and purposes lierein described.
