CITY OF MEDINA
PUBLIC NOTICE
The city council of the City of
Medina has adopted Ordinance
No. 664, an ordinance pertaining
to height of rooftop elements. The
ordinance added limitations to the
height of both architectural rooftop
elements and rooftop equipment,
summarized as follows:
No rooftop architectural el-
ements shall extend above the
greater of the following:
O ten feet above the highest
point of the roof on which it is lo-
cated;
(ii) a horizontal line five feet
greater than the maximum building
height allowed in the respective
zoning district in which it is located,
as measured to the average grade;
or
(iii) in non-residential districts,
a vertical distance of 50 feet as
measured from the average grade
around the building to the top of the
architectural element.
No rooftop equipment shall ex-
tend greater than twelve feet above
the highest point of the roof on
which it is located, except by con-
ditional use permit.
The ordinance also repeals the
interim ordinance regulations and
moratorium on certain rooftop el-
ements which were established by
Ordinance No. 677.

dina city hall during regular busi-
ness hours.
