SPECIAL JOINT CITY COUNCIL/PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
June 9, 2016
The Moab City Council held a Special Joint City Council/Planning
Commission Meeting on the above date in the Council Chambers at the
Moab City Center, located at 217 East Center Street, Moab, Utah.
Mayor David Sakrison called the Special Meeting to order at 6:00 PM. In
attendance were Councilmembers Kyle Bailey, Tawny Knuteson-Boyd
and Rani Derasary. Also in attendance were City Manager Rebecca
Davidson, City Recorder/Assistant City Manager Rachel Stenta,
Community Services Director Amy Weiser, City Engineer Phillip
Bowman, Police Chief Mike Navarre and Zoning Administrator/Planning
Assistant Sommar Johnson. In attendance from the Planning
Commission were Laura Uhle, Allison Brown, Joe Downard and Wayne
Hoskisson. There were two (2) audience members present.
A discussion was held on City Initiated Annexation.
A discussion was held on the Downtown Plan Request for Proposals
Status/Progress Update.
A discussion was held regarding Intermediate Code Revisions.
An update was given on Affordable Housing.
Councilmember Derasary moved to adjourn the meeting.
Councilmember Knuteson-Boyd seconded the motion. The motion
carried 3-0 aye, with Councilmembers Bailey, Knuteson-Boyd and
Derasary voting aye.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 PM.
