RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING AGENT TO BID
STRUCTURAL REPAIRS TO THE FIREHOUSE
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") Firehouse located on
Roosevelt Avenue (the "Firehouse") has been determined to be in need of structural
repairs; and
WHEREAS, estimates for repairs to the Firehouse exceed the bid threshold
established under the Local Public Contract Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret that the Borough's purchasing agent be and is hereby directed to
prepare bid specifications and seek bid proposal to provide for the necessary repairs
to the Firehouse.
BE, IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect immediately.
Adopted this 15th day of June, 2000
and Certified as a true copy of the
original on June 16, 2000.
