A RESOLUTION OF TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF TItE CITY
OF LYNSYOOD AUTHORIZING PURCIIAS~ OF PROPERTY
NECESSARY FOR THE j4IDLNING APID ID4PROVEMENT OF
LONG BEACH BOUL~VARD
WH~REAS, the City Council of the Ci.ty of Lynwood has
determined that the widening and improvement of Long Beach
Boulevard from the northerly to the southerly boundaries of the
City is necessary for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the
public, and
WHEREAS, it has been d~termined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by the acquisition of property necessary
for the widening, and
WHER~AS, THE City has appropriated certain funds for
this acquisition and development, and
~VIi~REAS, the City Council has received an ~nvironmental
Impact statement on the Long Beach Boulevard Project a.nd have
determined that no significant enviromental impact will occur in
the complet~on of this project.
NOW, THI;REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TH~ CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS: ,
Section l. The following described property is
necessary for the widening of Long Beach Boulevard:
Parcel 1
That portion of Lot 1 of Tract No. 2794, in the city
of Lynwood, county of Los Angeles, state of California,
as per map recorded in book 28 page 6 of Maps, in the
office of the county recorder of said county, described
as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said ].01;; thence
westerly, along the southerly line of said lot to the
westerly line of the easterly 8.50 feet thereof, measured
at right angles; thence northerly,a.long said westerly line
20.00 feet; thenc,e westerly 1.50 feet to the westerly line
of the easterly 10.00 feet, measured at right angles of
said lot; thence northerly, along last said westerly line,
to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southwesterly
having a radius of 13.00 feet, the westerly terminus of
said curve also being tangent to thesoutherly line of the
northerly 20.00 feet, measured at right angles of said
lot; thence northwesterly along said curve to last said
southerly line; i:hence easterly along last said southerly
line to the easterly line of said ]ot; thence southeasterly
along said easterly line to,the point of bebinning.
Section 2. That the purchase pri e o~' the abpve ~escribed

Section 3. Z'hat the City Council authorize and direct C~
Staff to take whatever steps necessary to accept this property in accor
ance with the terms and conditions as set forth above.
