A RESQLUTION PASSING UPON OBJECTIONS AND
DIREGTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STRE~TS
TO ABATE THE NUISANCE OF DRY AND DRY NG
WEEDS THAT EXIST ON CERTAIN PAR~ELS OF
LAND IN THE CITY OF LYNWOODo
WHEREAS, the Cit.y Council of the City of Lynwood, California
did on the 20th day of July9 1976, adopt Resolutio~ Noe 76-59 relating to
the ab~~ement of dry and drying weeds on certain parcels o~ land in the City
of Lynwood, and '
WHEREAS, due notice was given to destroy such weeds by posting
`"Noti~e ~a Destray Weeds" notices, as required by law, and
WHEREAu, at the time and place fixed for the hearing of protests
~nd objections to sa~d matter, a hear.ing was duly held and written or oral
objectians were made to the doing of said work, and
WHEREAS- the City Council of' thE City of Lynwood has considered
all the facts and is fully informed in the mattery and they have acquired
jurisdietion to px°oceed and perform the work or removal of said nuisanceo
NOW~ TAEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent of
Stx~eets af the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby instructed to abate the
nuisance described in said Resolution Noo 76-59 lby having said nuisances
referx°ed to removed, and he and his as~istants aa~e hereby expressly authorized
t~ enter upon priv~.te property fo~° that pu~pose~
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property owners shall have the
right to h~ve any such nuisance remo~red and abated ~.t. Y~is_own expense, provided
such wox~k is done prior to the time the work is done by the Superintendent
of 8treets. I~ the work is done by the prope~ty owner, na charge shall be
made by the City of Lynwood~
