CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-92
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE SOO LINE RAILROAD COMPANY
AND THE CITY OF MEDINA
WHEREAS, the City of Medina wishes to install and maintain a
sanitary sewer line upon and across the Soo Line Railroad Company's
property and tracks in the SE1/4 NE1/4 of Section 11, Township
118N, Range 23W in the City; and
WHEREAS, the Soo Line Railroad has agreed to grant a "Pipe
Line Crossing Permit" (No. 28975) for that purpose; and
WHEREAS, the City shall pay the Railroad Company the sum of
$600 in advance as rental and shall pay all taxes and assessments
that may be levied or assessed against the pipe line upon the
execution of this agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Medina,
Minnesota that the City hereby enter into this agreement with the
Soo Line Railroad Company and authorize the Mayor to sign the
agreement on behalf of the City.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member Philip Zietlow and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Council Members John Ferris, Johnson, Arm Thies and Zietlow
and the following voted against: None
and the following were absent: Mayor Anne Theis.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this
7th day of December , 19 93 .
