resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-96
RESOLUTION APPROVING 1993 TAX LEVY,
COLLECTIBLE IN 1994
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a budget for the
operations of the City of Medina for the 1994 calender year,
containing the following appropriations out of the General Fund:
General Government $345,331
Public Safety $651,780
Public Works $417,176
Parks $ 34,226
Recycling $ 27,188
WHEREAS, a Truth in Taxation hearing was held on December 1,
1993 after publication of notice of said hearing; and
WHEREAS, there are adequate funds to cover the bonded
indebtedness of the G.O. Improvement Bonds of 1985, the G.O.
Improvement Bonds of 1987 and the G.O. Refunding Bonds of 1992;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Medina, County of Hennepin, Minnesota, that a property tax levy
of $722,922 be levied upon the taxable property in the City of
Medina for taxes payable in 1994 and herein be certified to the
Hennepin County Auditor.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by member James Johnson and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Council Members Ferris, Johnson, Ann Thies and Philip Zietlow
and the following voted against: None
and the following were absent:
Mayor Anne Theis.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this
7th day of December 19 93 .
