AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN THE
CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS, UNDER THE AUTHORITY
GRANTED BY THE ZONING REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF
BEL AIRE, KANSAS AS ORIGINALLY APPROVED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 212.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
Section 1. Change of Zoning District Classification
Having received a recommendation from the Bel Aire City Planning Commission on Case No.
z-o 1-96, and proper notice having been given and hearing held as provided by law and under
authority and subject to the provisions of the Zoning Regulations of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas as
originally approved by Ordinance No. 2l2, the zoning district classification of a tract of land legally
described as follows is changed from the General Commercial (B-1) District to the Single Family
Residential (R-2) District, to-wit:
Part of Government Lot 6, in the Northeast Quarter of Section 25,
Township 26 South, Range 1 East of the 6th P.M., more particularly
described as a tract of land with a depth of 610 feet and a width of
894 feet lying North of and adjacent to the Willow Point Courts
Second Addition, an Addition to the City of Bel Aire, Sedgwick
County, Kansas, and lying West of and adjacent to the Willow Point
At Eagle Lake Second Addition, an Addition to the City of Bel Aire,
Sedgwick County, Kansas, containing 12.1 acres, more or less.
Generally located at the Southeast Comer the intersection of 45th
Street North and Oliver Street in Bel Aire, Kansas.
Section 2. Change of Zoning District Map
Upon the effective date of this Ordinance, the above authorized zoning change shall be
entered on, incorporated within and shown upon the Official Zoning Map(s) for the City of Bel Aire,
Kansas, previously adopted and incorporated by reference within the Zoning Regulations of the City
of Bel Aire, Kansas and amendments thereto.
Section 3. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the official
city newspaper.
