~, pursuant to Chapter 730 of the Statutes of 1976, Section 16429.1 was added to the Califomi:
Government Code to create a Local Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury for the deposit of mone,.
of a local agency for purposes of investment by the State Treasurer; and
WHERF_~S, the Town Council does hereby find that the deposit and withdrawal of money in the Local Agency.
Investment Fund in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of the Government Code for the purpos~
of investment as stated therein as in the best interests of the Town of Truckee.
NOW, Tl-l~~ BE IT RlrSOLVED THAT THE TOWN CrlJNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
CAIPel)RNIA, does hereby authorize the deposit and withdrawal of Town of Truckee monies in the Loca
Agency Investment Fund in the State Treasury in accordance with the provisions of Section 16429.1 of th~
Government Code for the purpose of investment as stated therein.
BE IT FURTItER RESOLVI~, that the following officers of the Town of Truckee or their successors in office
shall be authorized to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies in the Local Agency Investment Fund:

The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Special Meeting of the Council of the Town
of Truckee, held on the 26th day of August, 1993, by Council Member Cross who moved its
adoption, which motion being duly seconded by Council Member Aguera was upon mil call
carried and the Resolution adopted by the following vote:
