At 6:25 pm Chairman Ron Eldridge called the meeting to order.
IT Gaucher ofthe DPW was present to request an additional $200,000 to fund snow and ice
removal. The original appropriation for this line item was $200,000. At a 111112010 meeting
ofthe AC this amount was increased by $300,000 to $500,000. As ofto day's date, snow and
ice removal expenses total $554,000.
Stuart moved and Joe seconded a motion to incur $200,000 in additional liabilities for the
purpose of snow and ice removal, as provided in M.G.L. Chapter 44, Sec 31 D. The motion
passed by a vote of 4 -O.
At 6:30 pm the AC, along with the School Committee(SC), joined a meeting ofthe Board of
Selectmen (BOS) to discuss the 2011 budget for the Town of Hopkinton. Reference can be
made to the minutes ofthe BOS meeting of this date for a record ofthe meeting.
At 8:25 pm budget discussions with the BOS and SC concluded, and the meeting was
adjourned.
