A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORTZING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY
NECESSARY FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF
LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
dete~mined that the widening and improvement of Long Beach
Boulevard ~rom the northerly to the southe~ly boundaries of the
City is necessary for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the
public, ~nd
WHEREAS, it has been~ determined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by the acquis~tion of property necessary
for the wideningy and
WHEREASy the City has appropriaied certain funds for
this acquisition and development, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received and Environmental
Impact stat~ment on the Long Beach Boulev~rd Project and have
determined that no significant environmental impact will occur in
the completion af this projecto
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:

Parcel 19
Beginning at the most easterry corner of Lot 38; thence
we~terly along southerly line of sa~d lot to the westerly
yine of the easterly 10e00 feet, measured at right angles
of said lat and the true point of beginning; thence
continuing, westerly along southerly lines of Lots 38 and
39 to westerly line of Lot 39; thenee northerly along said
westerly line 7000 feet to the northerly lines of the
sout~erly 7e00 ~eety measured at right angles, of said
Lois 38 and 39: thence easterly along said northerly lines
to the beginning of a tangent curve concave norther-westerly,
~nd having a radius of 17000 feet; thence northerly along
mentioned curve to said westerly line of the easterly 10v00
feet o~ Lot 38; thence southerly along said westerly line
to the true point o~ beginning,
Sectian 2o That the purchase price of the above described
property ha~ been negotiated with Hazel Ao Shively in the amount of
