I~ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'I'Y
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORTZING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY
NECESSARY FOR THE WIDENING ~1ND IMPROVEMENT OF
LONG BEACH BOULEVARD
WHERE~,S9 the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined th~t the wi.dening and improvement of Long Beach
Boulevard Yr~m the northerly to the ~outherly boundaries of the
City is nePvessary for the convenience, welfare9 ~.nd s~fety of the
public, ~.nd
WHEREAS, it has been determined th~.t the~ best interest
ot the City s1~~.11 be served by the acquis.ition of property necessary
for the widening, ~,nd
WHEREASy the City has ~.ppropriated certain funds for
this acquisi~~~on and development, ~.nd
WHEREAS9 the City Council has received an Environmental
Imp~,ct vtatement on the Long Beach Boulevas^d Project and have
dete~m~ned th~.* no sign~~ic~.nt environmental impact will occur in
the complet:ia~x~ af thia project~
NOW9 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS~
Section 1~ The following desex~ibed property is
necessary fo?~ the widening ~~f Long Beach Boulev~,rd~
Pa~~el 40
That pox~tion of ihe portzon of Lot 39, Tract No. 2551,
lying south~rly of rhe westerly prolongation of the
narthe~ly ~ine of Lot 37 of said Tract No~ 2551, as
sh~wn on map fzled in Book 24, pages 78,79, and 80, of
Mapsy in the offi~e of the Recarder of the County of
LUS Angeles, ~n the included m~.ps, ~.nd within the
tollowing boundaries=
B~ginning at the southwesterly corner of said Lot 39;
rhen~e northerly ~.long the westerly line of said lot
58~18 ~e~t to the westerly prolongation of the northex°ly
l~n~ of Lot 37; thence e~,ste~Ty along said weste~ly
prc~long~.tion 5,.33 feet to the easter°ly line of the
