AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($550,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer
construction in Conway Road Sanitary Relief (Conway Ln to Dwyer Ave) (12130) in the City of
Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53090 with Unnerstall Contracting
Co, LLC for sanitary sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Four Hundred Sixty-
Nine Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Three Dollars ($469,773.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders and other project expenses is Eighty Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-
Seven Dollars ($80,227.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in
Conway Road Sanitary Relief (Conway Ln to Dwyer Ave) (12130) the City of Ladue, Missouri;
said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office
of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53090
with Unnerstall Contracting Co, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer
construction in Conway Road Sanitary Relief (Conway Ln to Dwyer Ave) (12130) in the City of
Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 15th day of February, 2024.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2024
