AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Four Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($450,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction and Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek to be used for storm sewer construction in Daniel Road Storm Sewer Relief (12703)
in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53091 with
Wehmeyer Farms, Inc. for storm sewer construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction is Three Hundred Thirty-
Nine Thousand Seventy Dollars ($339,070.00) and the allowance for construction change orders
and other project expenses is One Hundred Ten Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty Dollars
($110,930.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($450,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction and Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek for storm sewer construction in Daniel Road Storm Sewer Relief (12703) in the City
of Ladue, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been
approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53091
with Wehmeyer Farms, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for storm sewer construction in
Daniel Road Storm Sewer Relief (12703) in the City of Ladue, Missouri, pursuant to bids received
on the 22nd day of February, 2024.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2024
