AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Million Seven Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($2,700,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump
station improvements in Lower Middle River Des Peres ORS SCADA PLC Network Upgrades
(13832) in the City of St. Louis and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract No. 53055 with Corrigan Company for pump station improvements.
WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is Two Million Five
Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-Eight Dollars ($2,545,768.00) and the
allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Fifty-Four
Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars ($154,232.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Seven Hundred Thousand ($2,700,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station improvements in
Lower Middle River Des Peres ORS SCADA PLC and Network Upgrades (13832) in the City of
St. Louis and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such
terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53055
with Corrgian Company, as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements Lower
Middle River Des Peres ORS SCADA PLC and Network Upgrades (13832) in the City of St. Louis
and Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 19th day of
January, 2024.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2024
