AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($500,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction and Improvement Fund of Gravois
Creek to be used for cost share for municipal stormwater expenditures in Grantwood Storm Sewer
Improvements (13911) within the Town of Grantwood Village, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into an agreement with the Town of Grantwood Village for cost share for municipal
stormwater expenditures.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction and Improvement Fund of Gravois
Creek to be used for cost share for municipal stormwater expenditures in Grantwood Stormwater
Sewer Improvements (13911) within the Town of Grantwood Village, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into an agreement with
the Town of Grantwood Village for cost share for municipal stormwater expenditures in
Grantwood Storm Sewer Improvements (13911) within the Town of Grantwood Village, Missouri;
and said contract shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are approved by the
Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 11, 2024
