RESOLUTION N0. 76-74
A RESOLUTION OF THE INCORPORATED CITY OF LYNWOOD
FIXING THE RATES OF TAXES, AND LEVYING TAXES FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1976, AND ENDING
JUNE 30, 1977•
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section l. That for the purpose of taxation, all of
that territory and lands lying and being in the corporate limits
of the City of Lynwood, California, prior to February 1, 1970,
shall constitute the taxing area subject to the provisions of
this Resolution.
Section 2. That the amount of money necessary to be
raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the
corporate limits of the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, to provide for carrying on the various
functions of municipal government in said City for the Fiscal
Year beginning July 1, 1g76, and ending June 30, 1977, is
hereby fixed at the sum of Eight Hundred Sixty-Five Thousand,
Three Hundred Seventy-one Dollars and Twenty Four Cents
($865,371.24).
Section 3. That in addition to the amount of money
necessary to be raised as aforesaid, the amount of money
necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property
within the corporate limits of said City to provide for the
payment to the State Employees' Retirement System, authority
for the execution of said contract as granted by Ordinance
No. 426, adopted by a vote of the qualified electors of the
City of Lynwood the 16th day of April, 1946, for the Fiscal
Year beginning July l, 1976 and ending June 30, 1977, is
hereby fixed at the sum of Seven Hundred Fifty-four Thousand,
Six Hundred Eighty-four pollars and Twenty-two Cents
($754,684.22).
Section 4. That for the purpose of raising the sum
of money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable
property within the City limits of said City of Lynwood as the
revenue to carry on the functions of the various departments
of said City, to provide payment to State Employees' Retire-
ment Fund as authorized in Ordinance No. 426, the rates of
taxes are hereby fixed and taxes are hereby levied on all
taxable property within the City limits of said City for the
Fiscal Year beginning July l, 1976, and ending June 30, 1977,
upon each $100.00 of the assessed value of said property as
assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles, State of California,
for said fiscal year as follows:

Section 5. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
forward immediately to the County Auditor-Controller of Los
Angeles County a certified copy of this resolution.
Section 6. That the City Clerk of said City shall
certify to the adoption of this resolution and cause the same
to be published once in the Lynwood Press, a weekly newspaper
of general circulation, published and circulated in said City
of Lynwood.
