WH~REAS, the City Council of the City ot Lynwood has
determined that the widening and improvement of Lang Beach Boulevard
from the northerly Lo the southerly boundaries of the City is necessary
for the conveni~nce, welfare, and safety of the public, and
WHEREA~y xt has been det2rmined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by the acquisition of property necessary
~or said widening, and
WH~RE,~S9 the City nas appropriated certain funds for
this acquisitian and development, and
WHEHEAS, the City Council has received an Environmental
lmpact statement an the Long tieach Boulevard Project and have determined
that no significarit environmental impact will occur in the completion of
thi.s project~
NO~N, THEREFORE, ~3E I`l' RESOLVED t3Y THE CITY C:OUNCIL OF '1'HE
CITY OF LYNWOOll AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1~ The following described praperty is necessary
tor the widening of Long Beach Boulevard.
Par~21 5
The nc~rtheasterly 10.00 feet, measured at right angles,
c~f L~t 5 of Tract No. 'L794, in the City of Lynwood, in
the County of Los Angeles, State ot California, as per
map recarded in Book 28 page 6 of Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said Countyo
Se~;txon 2. That the purchase price of the above described
property has been negotiated with ~dward C;ircelli, virginia L. Circelli,
Thomas H.. Ingram and uona Lenora Ingram in the amount of $1,810,.00~
Section ~e '1'hat the City Council authorize and direct
City Stafr to take whatever steps necessary to accept this property
in acec~rdanr.a wif.h the terms and conditions as set forth above.
