RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, ADDING SECTION 2b
(NIGHT PREMIUM PAY) TO RULE IB (DEFINITION
OF TERMS) OF THE PERSONNEL RULES AND REGU-
LATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
California, received and reviewed a recommendation from the
Personnel Board relating to night premium pay; and
WHEREAS, said proposed amendment to the Personnel
Rules and Regulations would clarify and set policy as to what
constitutes night pay (premium pay) and would eliminate any
employee misunderstanding;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Lynwood does hereby amend the Personnel Rules
and Regulations by adding Section 2~ (Night Prem~um Pay) to
Rule IB (Definition of Terms), to read as follows:
"Section 2U. Night Premium Pay: Any employee who
is otherwise eligible to receive premium pay shall receive
night premium pay ($1.15/work day) when said employee works a
minimum of four (4) hours after 10:00 p.m. and before 7:00 a.m."
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 21 day of
September, 1976.
