RESOLUTION NO. 76-$8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER
A PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
FOR PROJECT AREA A
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency has, by Resolution
No. LRA-76-18 adopted October 19, 1976, declared its intention to
consider an amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for Project Area
A, which amendment would exclude land from said Project Area; and
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law rea,uires that both
the Agency and the City Council hold public hearings on said pro-
posed amendment, but allows said public hearings to be consoli-
dated into a joint public hearing; and
WfIEREAS, the public convenience and necessity will be better
served bv means of such a joint public hearing on the aforesaid
proposed amendment; and
WHEREAS, this City Council concurs in the aforesaid action
taken by the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does herebv find, determine, order, and resolve as follows:
l. The public hearings on the proposed amendment to the
Redeve].opment Plan for Project Area A which are required by the
Community Redevelopment Law to be held before the Agency and
the City Council shall be consolidated into a joint public hearing
to be held on November 16, 1976, at 7:30 p.m., or as soon there-
after as the matter can be heard in the Chambers of the City Coun-
cil, at 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California.
2. The "NOtice of Public Hearing" heretofore adopted by
the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency hereby is also approved and
adopted by this City Council as adequate and proper notice of
said public hearing.
3. The publication and mailing of said notice by the Secre-
tary to the Agency, as set forth in the aforesaid Resolution No.
LRA-76-18 shall be made also on behalf of the City of Lynwood and
shall be deemed to constitute said CitX's notice of the afore-
said hearing.
