A ftESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCTL OF TIiE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHOftIZING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY NECESSARY
FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF LONG BEACH
BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that the widening and improvement of Long Beach Boulevard
from the northerly to the southerly boundaries of the City is necessary
for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the public, and
WHERFsAS, it has been determined that the best intereet
of the City shall be served by the acquisition of property necessary
for said widening, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received an Environmental
impact statement on the Long Beach Boulevard Project and have
determined that no significant environmental impact will occur in
the completion of this project>
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section le The following described property is necess~,ry
for the widening of Long Beach Boulevardo
Parcel 3
The northeasterly 10.00 feet, measured at right
angles, of Lot 3 of Tract Noo 2794, in the City
of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 28 page 6
of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of
said Countyo
Section 2~ That the purchase price of the above described
property has been negotiated with Mac Glass in the amount of $2,170,00.
Section 3~ That the City Council authorize and direct
City Staff to take whatever steps necessary to accept this property
in accor@ance with the terms and conditions as set forth above.
