A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN
WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING MAINTAINED
ON THE PROPERTY KNOWN AS 4133 JOSEPHINE
STREET,
WHEREAS, ~he City Manager of the City of Lynwood has re-
commended that thia City Council find that a certain premise
within the City of Lynwood may be maintained in such a way
as to constitute a nuisanc~; and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in Chapter 21
of the City Code of the City of Lynwood, pursuant to which
nuisances may be abated,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Based upon the aforesaid recommefldation of the City
Manager, this Council hereby finds and determines that the
following described property may be presently maintained
in such a manner as to constitute a nuisancee Said property is
described as Lot:50, T~act 9235 and is generally known as
4133 Josephine Street, Lynwood, California.
2. The conditions of said property which may constitutes a
nuisance are described as follows: violation of zoning ordinance
(uaing front yard area for storage), debris, inoperable motor
vehicles and maintenance of premises.
3. The method or methods by which such conditions could be
abated include: Terminate storage in front yard, remone debris,
inoperable motor vehicles and maintain premises.
4. This Council therefore declares its intention to conduct
a public hearing pursuant to Chapter 21 of the City Code of
the City of Lynwood to ascertain whether the above-described
conditions constitute a public nuisance, the abatement of which
is appropriate under the Police power of the City of Lynwood.
5e The City Clerk is authorized and directed to fix the
time and place for said public hearing and to serve and post
certified copies of this Resolution in the manner set forth in
Section 21-18 of the Lyn~ood City Code,
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regu.lar meeting of the Citp Council
of the City of Lynwood held on the 21st day of December, 1976.
