RESOLUTION NO, 75-29
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF PROPERTY NECESSARY
FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF LONG BEACH
BOU LE VA RD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined
that the widening and improvement of Long Beach Boulevard from the northerly
to the southerly boundaries of the City is necessary for the convenience, welfare,
and safety of the public, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall
be served by the acquisition of property necessary for said widening, and
WHEREAS, the City has appropriated certain funds for this acquisition
and development, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received an Environmental Impact
statement on the Long Beach Boulevard Project and have determined that no
significant environmental impact will occur in the completion of this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1, The following described property is neceasary for the
widening of Long Beach Boulevardc
Parcel 22
The westerly 9, 5 feet (measured at right angles) of Lots 81 to 84
inclusive of Tract No, 2551, in the city of Lynwood, county of
Los Angeles, state of California, as per map recorded in book 24
pages 78 to 80 inclusive of Maps, in the office of the county recorder
of said county,
Except all oil and mineral rights of Vera Hazel Weaver Langford, as
reserved by Vera Hazel Weaver Langford, in deed recorded August 10,
1971 in Book D-5153 page 503, Official Records, as Instrument No, 368.
Section 2, That the purchase price for the above described property
has been negotiated with Bruce 'P, Mulhearn, Tomazina Mulhearn, Dal~ E. Lawrence
and Donna L. Lawrence in the amount of $4465.

Section 3e That the City Council authorize and direct City Staff to take
whatever steps necessary to accept this property in accordance with the terms and
conditions as set forth above,
