A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD SETTING FORT~I THE FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR
STREET REPAIRS, ESTABLISHMENT OF LINES AND GRADES
FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS, AND INSPECTION COSTS FOR
NEW CONSTRUCTION OR REPAIRS OF CURBS, SIDEWALKS,
GUTTERS, PAVEMENT, DRIVEWAYS AND SANITARY SEWER,
AND ESTABLISHING CHARGES FOR BOOKLETS, MAPS,
REPORTS AND OTHER SERVICES NOT SPECIFCALLY
COVERED BY ORDINANCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
TO COLLECT SAID CHARGES.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 709 of the City of Lynwood
adopted the 5th day of October, 1960, prescribes the method,
specifications, and requirements for establishing regulations for
making excavations and performance of other work in public streets
in said city.
Section 2. That the fees for said work, included
herein shall be as follows:
A. Tree removal and replacement No charge
B. Filing Fee (non-returnable) $ 1.50
C. Street Repair fees
l. Asphalt repairs (minimum 3" thick)
Minimum charge per cut 10.00
Charge per sq. ft. 1.60
2. Concrete repairs (Minimum 8" thick)
Minimum Charge 10.00
Charge per sq. ft. 1.60
3. Concrete sidewalk and drive apron
repairs (minimum 4" thick)
Minimum charge 10.00

Charge per sq. ft. $ 1.60
4. A11 concrete cuts must be saw cut. If this work is
performed by the City crews the rates shall be as follows:
Service Charge 10.00 plus
0.50 lin. ft.
D. Engineering fees
l. Establishment of line and grades
First 500 lin. ft. 0.25 lin. ft.
Over 500 lin. ft. 0.20 lin. ft.
E. Inspection fees
l. Curb construction inspection 0.10 lin. ft.
2. Sidewalk construction inspection 0.05 sq. ft.
3. Gutter construction inspection 0.10 lin. ft.

5. Driveway construction inspection
Commercial 10.00 each
Residential 5.00 each
6. Main line and lateral sanitary sewer
construction inspection 0.25 lin ft.
7. Sewer saddle 5.00 each
8. Connection charge 5.00 each
Section 3. Fees not specifically herein established for
work pe rformed under Ordinance No. 709 shall be regulated by the
City Engineer.
Section 4. That the following charges are hereby established
for said maps, reports, booklets and plans:
l. City Ordinances published in booklet
form 0.50 each
2. Police reports 2.50 each
3. 8 x 10 police photographs 2.00 each
4. Photocopy service - Police Records 2.00 service

Section 5. That the Accounting Officer of said city is
hereby authorized to make such additional charges for materials and
services not specifically mentioned above, but charges shall be the
actual cost of said materials or services performed. Said charges
shall be paid at the cashier of said city.
