HomeMy Public PortalAbout1994-013Member John Ferris introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 94-13 RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF MEDINA ROAD FROM TAMARACK DRIVE TO COUNTY ROAD 24 WHEREAS, pursuant to previous council authorization, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates regarding the improvement of Medina Road between Tamarack Drive and County Road 24 by placement of stabilization fabric, drain tile and 12 inches of gravel base and 4-1/2 inches of bituminous surfacing 24 feet in width with a six-foot gravel shoulder and by making certain improvements to Morgan Road and Mohawk Drive. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The city council will consider the improvement of Medina Road in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefitted property for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated cost of the improvement of $545,460. 2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on April 5, 1994 at 7 : 30 p . m . in the council chambers at city hall and the clerk - treasurer shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
