CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-13
RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE
IMPROVEMENT OF MEDINA ROAD FROM TAMARACK
DRIVE TO COUNTY ROAD 24
WHEREAS, pursuant to previous council authorization, a report has been
prepared by Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates regarding the improvement of
Medina Road between Tamarack Drive and County Road 24 by placement of
stabilization fabric, drain tile and 12 inches of gravel base and 4-1/2 inches of
bituminous surfacing 24 feet in width with a six-foot gravel shoulder and by making
certain improvements to Morgan Road and Mohawk Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of Medina, Minnesota
as follows:
1. The city council will consider the improvement of Medina Road in
accordance with the report and the assessment of benefitted property
for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated cost of the improvement of
$545,460.
2. A public hearing shall be held on the proposed improvement on April 5,
1994 at 7 : 30 p . m . in the council chambers at city hall and the clerk -
treasurer shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Arm Vies
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, James Johnson, Thies, Philip Zietlow and Mayor Anne Theis.
