Section 1 fn order to provide the right to establish
conforming uses on properties in the R -1 and CB -1 zones containing
non - conforming churches, Section 25 -15.13 of Chapter 25 of the
Lynwood Municipal Code is hereby amended as follows (underline
indicate additions, strikeout indicate deletions):
1 25 -15.13 Non - Conforming Churches May Alter, Expand or
Rebuild.
Non - conforming churches may be structurally altered, enlarged
or replaced on the same site and conforming uses may be established
provided the requirements of this title for off - street parking
shall be met and maintained for any current seating capacity -in
..rd; „ a „ e^, whether provided by additional seats in the sanctuary or
by additional floor spaces to be used simultaneously for assembly
purposes if there be no fixed seats.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
SECTION 25 -15.13 OF CHAPTER 25 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE TO ALLOW CONFORMING
USES TO BE ESTABLISHED ON PARCELS
CONTAINING A NON - CONFORMING CHURCH
Section 2 . Severability If any section, subsection }
subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this ordinance
or the application thereof to any person or place, is for any

any court or competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect
the validity of the remaining portions, of this ordinance or its
application to other person or places. The City Council hereby
declares that it would have adopted this ordinance, and each
section thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more
section, subsection, sentence, or place, be declared invalid or
unconstitutional.
Section 3 . The City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to
certify to the passage of this ordinance and to cause the same to
be published once in the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general
circulation printed, published, and circulated in the City of
Lynwood.
