ORDINANCE NO. 1417
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING
SUBSECTION 3-3.7 OF SECTION 3.3 OF CHAPTER 3
OF THE LYNWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE TO EXEMPT. PEACE
OFFICERS FROM THE SCOPE OF CERTAIN REGULATORY
PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO BICYCLE OPERATIONS

FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Paragraph c of Subsection 3-3.7 of
Section 3-3 of Chapter 3 of the Lynwood Municipal Code is
redesignated as paragraph d.
Section 2. A new paragraph c is, added to
Subsection 3-3.7 of Subsection 3-3 of Chapter 3 of the Lynwood
Municipal Code to read as follows:
"c. Exemption. Any peace officer operating a bicycle
in, the course of performing law enforcement services is
exempt from the prohibitions set forth above in
paragraphs a and b."
Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to certify to
the passage and adoption of this ordinance and to cause it to be
published or posted as required by law.
