Member John Ferris introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-16
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT OF MEDINA
ROAD FROM TAMARACK DRIVE TO CO. RD. 24,
INCLUDING MOHAWK DRIVE AND MORGAN ROAD,
ORDERING AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS REGARDING SAME
WHEREAS, by previous council action, a date was set for a public hearing on
the proposed improvement of Medina Road between Tamarack and Co. Rd. 24 by
placement of stabilization fabric, drain tile and 12 inches of gravel base and 4-1/2
inches of bituminous surfacing 24 feet in width and six-foot gravel shoulder and the
making of certain improvements on Morgan Road and Mohawk Drive; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the
hearing was given and the hearing was held on the 5th day of April, 1994, at which
time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota as follows:
1. The improvement, is hereby ordered, including the proposal to cul-de-
sac Mohawk Drive north of the intersection with the city hall access
drive and the paving and realignment of Morgan Road.
2. Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as the
engineer for this improvement and shall prepare plans and
specifications for the making of such improvement.
3. It is the judgment of the city council that the proposed improvement has
no relationship to the city's comprehensive plan.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Philip Zietlow
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, James Johnson, Arm Thies, Zietlow and Mayor Arne Theis
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
