AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.
LYNWOOD AMENDING CHAPTER 25, THE OFFICIAL ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE LYNWOOD MUNICIPAL CODE, CCHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF ALL PROPERTY OWNED BY
THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION (CALTRANS)
ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF THE CENTURY FREEWAY (1-105)
BETWEEN LONG BEACH BOULEVARD AND ATLANTIC AVENUE }
FROM NO ZONING DESIGNATION CO CF (COMMUNITY FACILITY),
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA ~
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ~CITY.OF LYNWOOD "DOES HEREBY FIND AND
DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS: 1
Section 1: Chapter 25 of the Lynwood Municipal Code and the
Zoning Map of the City of Lynwood are hereby amended to reclassify
certain real property described as follows:
All excess property owned by the State Department of
Transportation (CalTrans) in the freeway right of way along
the north side of Century Freeway (I-105) between the freeway
fence line and Fernwood Avenue, extending from Long Beach
Boulevard to Atlantic Avenue.

- Section 2: The amendment of the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning
Map are consistent with the objectives of the General Plan and the

Section 3: The amendment of the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning
Map will not have a significant effect on the environment and a
Negative Declaration has been issued pursuant to the provisions of
the California Environmental Quality Act and State CEQA Guidelines.
First read at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
held on the 5th day of September, 1995, and finally adopted and
ordered published at a regular meeting of the Council held on the
19th day of S~PntPmhPr , 1995 by the following vote:
