CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 94-19
RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR WILLOW DRIVE
WHEREAS, it has been proposed to construct Willow Drive north of T . H . 55
from its current termination to a point adjacent to the Outlot A on the plat of Metro
West Business Park, a distance of approximately 700 feet; and
WHEREAS, a Petition and Waiver Agreement, dated December 21, 1993 by and
between the City of Medina and St. Louis Park Investment Company, has been
received by the City; and
WHEREAS, St. Louis Park Investment Company is the fee owner of Lot 2,
Block 2, Metro West Business Park and requests that all costs for improving Willow
Drive be assessed against its property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota as follows:
1. The Petition and Waiver Agreement dated December 21, 1993 by and
between the City of Medina and St. Louis Park Investment Company for
the improvement of Willow Drive from near the southeast corner of Lot
2, Block 2, Metro West Business Park 700 feet northward to a point
adjacent to Outlot A of said plat, is declared to be valid and in
accordance with Minn. Stat. , § 429.035;
2. Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as city
engineer for this improvement and shall prepare plans and
specifications for the making of such an improvement.
3. It is the judgment of the city council that the proposed improvement
has no relationship to the city's comprehensive plan.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
John Ferris
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Johnson, Ann Thies, Philip Zietlow and Mayor Theis
and the following voted against same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
