Home My Public Portal About75-058 (06-17-75)y i RESOLUTION NO. 75-58 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DECLA RING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER STREET LIGHTING SERVICE ON CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FOR A PERIOD BEGINNING JULY 1, 1975 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1978 The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience require, and it ~ ~ a is the intention of the City Council of the City of Lynwood to order the furnishing of the service necessary to maintain and illuminate by means of electrical energy the street lighting system made up of 7, 000 lumen, 11, 000 lumen, 20, 000 lumen, 47,.000 lumen, and 55, 000 lumen lamps, and the 7, 000 lumen, 20, 000 lumen, and 47, 000 lumen and 55, 000 lumen lamps on ornamental standards in certain streets in the City of Lynwood within the district described in Section 2 hereof and to be known as "Lighting Mainte- nance District "A" of the City of Lynwood. " Reference is hereby made to Plan No. 1975-A and Specifications No. 1975-A on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. Section 2, That the exterior boundary of the district to be benefited therefrom and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof to be known as said assessment district is described as follows: Those properties lying within the following described exterior boundary line, to wit: (SEE ATTACHMENT) Section 3. That the said contemplated improvement shall be for a period of three (3) years, commencing July 1, 1975, and be had and taken under the provisions of Division 14, Part I of the Streets and Highways Code, cited as the "Street Lighting A ct of 1919, and amendments thereto. " Section 4, That the City Council does hereby fix Tuesday, the 15th day of July, 1975, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p, m, in the Council Chamber of said City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, in the City of Lynwood, as the time and place of hearing any and all protests in relation to said proposed improvement. _.
