RESOLUTION•NO. 75-73
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF'LYNWOOD"DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN
WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING MAINTAINED
ON THE PROPERTY'KNOWN AS 10781 COLYER
AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of .Lynwood has re-
commended that this City Council find that'a certain premise
within the City of Lynwood may be maintained in such a way
as to constitute a nuisance; and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in Chapter 21
of the City Code of the City of Lynwood, pursuant to which
nuisances may be abated,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1~ Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the City
Manager, this Council herEby finds°and'dete~ines that the
following described property may be presently being maintained
in such a manner as to constitute a nuisance. Said property is
described as Lot 27 of Tract 13633, and is generally known as
10781 Colyer Avenue, Lynwood,-California.
2. The conditions of said property which may constitute a
nuisance are described as follows: Tall dry weeds, rank growth
and broken windows.
3. The method or methods by which sated conditions could be
abated included Removal of weeds and rank growth and replace
broken windows.
4. This Council therefore declares ~.ts intention to conduct
a public hearing pursuant to Chapter 21 of the City Code of
the City of Lynwood to ascertain whether the above-described
conditions constitutes a public nuisance, the .abatement of which
is appropriate under the Police power of the City of Lynwood.
5. The City Cleric is authorized and directed to fix the
time and place for said public hearing and`to serve and post
certified copies of this Resolution in the manner set forth in
Section 21-18 of the Lynwood City Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regualr meeting of the City Council
of the City of Lynwood held on the 1st day of ,7uly 1975.
