RESOLUTION NO~ 75-76
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS, ORDERING THE WORK
AND LEVYING THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR SERVICE
NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN AND ILLUMINATE ALL STREET
LIGHTS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOODo
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, California,
did on the 17th day of June 1975, adopt Resolution No. 75-58 fixing the time and
place for a hearing in the matter of Lighting Maintenance District "A" of the
city of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, all interested persons were given full opportunity to
present their protests or objections, and
WHEREAS9 evidence has been received as to the publication and
posting of notice of said hearing in the time, form, and manner required by
law,
NOW THEREFORE, the said City Council, after due consideration of
all such objections and protest, does hereby overrule and deny any such protests
and objections arYd each of them to the work or improvement to be done within said
Street Lighting Maintenance District as described in Resolution of Intention No.
75-58 , and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the public interest and convenience
demands and requires and this City Council does hereby order the said contemplated
improvement to be made in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor,
adopted and approved, and the City Council does hereby levy the said proposed
assessment made to cover the costs and expens es of said improvement upon the
respective subdivisions of land in said district and as fi~~red by the proposed report
and assessment heretofore filed ira the office of the City Clerk, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEDa that the City Clerk of the City of

Lynwood is herebby ordered to transmit to the County of Los Angeles tax
collector the diagram and assessment upon which suoh leery is based and said
County Tax Collector is hereby authorized and directed to make collections of
all such assessments, and to perform all the acts and duties as are required of
said A ct to be performed by the persons designated as "Tax Collector" in Chapter 6
of the Street Lighting Act of 1919, as amPndedo
