RESOLUTION No. 75-79
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD DETERMING THAT 90% OR MORE OF ITS
SELECT SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS HAVE BEEN
CONSTRUCTED
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has presented to the
City Council a report concerning the Select System of City Streets
which report indicates that g0% or more of said system was
constructed prior to July 1, 1974, and,
WHEREAS, when 90% or more of the City's select system
of streets have been constructed, the City is authorized to
expend monies derived pursuant to Street and Highways Code,
Section 2106 (Gas Tax Fund) for construction or purchase of
rights-of-way on minor streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The aforesaid report of the City Engineer,
is hereby received and filed.
Section 2. In accordance with said report, it is
determined that 90% or more of the Select System of City
Streets of the City of Lynwood was constructed prior to July 1,
1974.
Section 3. Funds derived by the City of Lynwood
pursuant to Streets and Highways Code, Section 2106 may, as
the Council from time to time may authorize, be expended on the
construction and/or purchase of rights-of-way on minor streets.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of July, 197 .
