A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 73-33 MODIFYING CERTAIN RELATION-
SHIPS BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE LYNWOOD RE-
DEVELOPMENT AGENCY.
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 73-33, the City Council
has established certain relationships between the City of Lynwood.
and the Redevelopment Agency; and.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4(B) of said. resolution
the Agency is required to reimburse the City for all services
performed by City staff, on an hourly basis at rates equal to
the City hourly equivalent rate for the individual officer or
employee performing the service, plus a reasonable charge for
overhead.; and
WHEREAS, this method of determining the compensation
required to be paid by the Agency presents numerous administrative
difficulties; and
WHEREAS, a reimbursement from the Agency to the City on
a flat monthly rate would be fair and equitable to both and. would.
eliminate administrative difficulties; and
WHEREAS, on the basis of the services heretofore rendered
by the City on behalf of the Agency and based. also upon the level
of services expected. to be performed. in the foreseeable future,
the sum of $18,0000) is determined to be a reasonable charge for
such services,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood.
hereby does resolve that Section 4(B) of Resolution No. 73-33
hereby is amended to read. as follows:
B. Compensation by the Agency for Services
Render
The Agency shall reimburse the City for all costs
incurred by City officers and employees in rendering services
to the Agency. The Agency shall reimburse the City for all
such services performed. at the rate of $1,500.00 per month.
