A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUiVCIL OF THE CITY OF L.YNWOOD
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A
LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE
LYNWOOD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Unified School District has requested renewal
of a lease agreement to provide land for temporary quarters to alleviate overcrowded
classroom conditions within the District, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood desires to provide
sufficient accommodations to assist the School District in providing housing for
student classroom needs, and
WHEREAS, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Lynwood is
required to indefnitely continue and amend a prior lease agreement for the City-
owned property located at the corner of Birch Street and Mulford Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a three-year period unless
such lease agreement to be effective July 1, 1g75,for/terminated by either
party upon submission of a 30-day written notice in the form attached hereto.
