A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING THE SEISMIC SAFETY
ELEMENT TO THE CITY OF LYNWOOD GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council, pursuant to law, did
on September 16, 1975, hold a public hearing on the adoption of the Seismic
Safety Element to the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Council has carefully considered all pertinent
testimony offered in the case, as presented at the public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is required by law to adopt a Seismic
Safety Element to the General Plan in order to identify and appraise the
seismic hazards as they relate to surface ruptures from faulting, to ground
shaking and to ground failures.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
resolves, orders and approves the General Plan Element of the City of
Lynwood, California, titled:
"SEISMIC SAFETY ELEMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA"
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of September, 1975.
