A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING OF AND MAKING APPLICATION FOR THE DISABILITY
RETIREMENT OF LYNWOOD CITY EMPLOYEE RONALD R. WRIGHT
PURSUANT TO SECTION 21023. 6 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood (hereinafter referred to as Agency)
is a contracting agency of the Public Employees' Retirement System; and
WHEREAS, the Public Employees' Retirement Law required that a
contracting agency determine whether an employee of such agency in
employment in which he is classified as a local ,safety member is disabled
for purposes of Public Employees' Retirement Law and whether such
disability is "industrial" within the meaning of such Law; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has reviewed the medical and other
evidence relevant to such alleged disability.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD find and determine, and it does hereby find and determine that
Ronald R. Wright is incapacitated within the meaning of the Public
Employees Retirement Law for performance of his duties in the position
of Fire Engineer and establish October 6, 1975, as his effective date of
retirement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lynwood hereby.
makes application for the disability retirement of Ronald R. Wright and
authorizes and directs its appropriate officers to execute all documents
necessary and convenient therefore; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lynwood find and
determine that such disability is a result of injury or disease arising out
of and in the course of employment.
PASSED, APFROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th day of November, 1975.
