A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING PROPERTY NECESSARY
FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF LONG
BEACH BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Counoil of the City of Lynwood has determined
that the widening and improvement of Long Beach Boulevard from the northerly to the
southerly boundaries of the City is necessary for the convenience, welfare and safety
of the public and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City
shaIll be served by th9 acquisitiorn of property necessary for said widening, and
WHEREAS the City has appropriated certain funds for this acquisition
and development and
WHEREAS, the City Council has received an Environmental Impact
statement on the Long Beach Boulevard Projeot and have determined that no significant
environmental impact will ocour in the compfletion of this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWSo
Seotion 1. The ftlt~Yowing described property is necessary for the
widening of Long Beaoh Boslevard~
That portion of Lots 329, 330 and 331 of Tract No. 7046, in the
pity of LynwoodD county of Los Angeles, state of California, as
per map recorded in book 77 pages 64 through 68 of Maps, in
the office of the county recorder of said county, described as
follows ;
Begirhring at the most northerly corner of Lot 329; thence westerly
along the northerly line thereof to trYe westerly lines of the easterly
10. 00 feet of previously mentioned Lots 329, 330 and `331; thenoe
southerly along said westerly lines to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave southwesterfly having a radius of 17.00 feet, and southerly
terminus of said curve also being tangent to the southerly line of
previously mentioned Lot 331.; thenoe southerly along said ourve
to said southerly line; thence easterly along said southerly line
to the most easterly oorner of last mentioned lot; thenoe northerly
along the easterly lines of previously mentioned Lots 329, 330 and
331 to tfie point of beginning.
Seotioc~ 2. That the above described property has been offered for
dedioation to the City by Efl Rey Sausage Company, Inc,

Section ~o That the City Council aatiiorize and direct City Staff to
take whatever steps necessary to accept this property in accox°dance with the terms
and conditions as set forth above,
