HomeMy Public PortalAbout1994-033Member Philip Zietlow adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved its CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 94-33 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE COUNTY ROAD 116 TRUNK SANITARY SEWER PILING IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of pilings for the trunk sanitary sewer line extending generally from a point south of T . H . 55 in an orderly direction to service the Doerr/ Lundgren property, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the four bids received in compliance with the advertisement are summarized on exhibit A attached hereto; and WHEREAS, it appears that the bid of Lametti & Sons, Inc. of Hugo, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The mayor and clerk -treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Lametti & Sons, Inc. of Hugo, Minnesota in the name of the City of Medina for the piling improvements associated with the County Road 116 trunk sanitary sewer line according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the city council and on file in the office of the clerk -treasurer. 2. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lower bidder shall be retained until the contract has been signed.
